CAMPERS ON MISSION WORK WEEK – LINDEN VALLEY BAPTIST CONFERENCE CENTER

Twenty-two COM members and guests spent the week of April 24 – 28 volunteering at the Conference Center near Linden, Tennessee. This group worked more than 710 hours on various projects requested by the Staff at Linden Valley. Projects included the following:

1. Install new dryer vent and electrical outlet in laundry room

2. Install electrical hookups for the new video wall in the worship center

3. Pressure wash, scrape loose paint, and repaint the exterior walls of Deer and Buffalo Cottages

4. Paint interior walls of four bathrooms in Deer and Buffalo Cottages

5. Install new exterior clotheslines at Deer and Buffalo Cottages

6. Replace fluorescent lighting with LED lighting fixtures in Deer and Buffalo Cottages

7. Removal of old toilet fixtures in four bathrooms in Deer and Buffalo Cottages

8. Reinstall radio communication tower on mountain near Conference Center

9. Clean and trim shrubbery around buildings and walkways

10. Install new water heater in laundry room

11. Install new steel door on exterior of cafeteria building

12. Replace wood trim as needed on exterior of Deer and Buffalo Cottages

The COM Group also enjoyed fellowship and devotional time together during mealtime in the Linden Valley Cafeteria.

Prior to the work week on April 23, the group met for the Spring Rally. A separate report will be sent about the Rally meeting.
